MRI Data Acquisition, Reconstruction, Analysis and Research Methods Collection
Collection
Purpose of the collection

This comprehensive course collection brings together a structured learning pathway across MRI fundamentals, advanced imaging techniques, data analysis, and research methodologies in biomedical sciences. Designed to support learners from foundational concepts to advanced applications, the collection integrates physics, image acquisition, processing, quantitative analysis, and scientific research practices.

TAXTIX partners

Participants will explore the full MRI workflow, from signal generation and image reconstruction to advanced techniques such as diffusion imaging, functional MRI, and radiomics, while also developing strong competencies in statistical analysis, experimental design, and scientific communication. The courses emphasize both theoretical understanding and hands-on skills, enabling learners to interpret complex biomedical data and apply modern computational and analytical tools in research and clinical contexts.

By completing this collection, learners will:

  • Build a solid foundation in MRI principles and advanced imaging methods
  • Develop skills in image processing, quantitative analysis, and data interpretation
  • Apply statistical and computational tools to biomedical research problems
  • Design robust experiments and critically evaluate scientific literature
  • Gain practical experience in research workflows, including ethics, publishing, and grant writing

This collection is ideal for MSc and PhD students, researchers, clinicians, and professionals aiming to strengthen their expertise in neuroimaging, biomedical data science, and translational research.

This course collection is offered as part of the TACTIX project in collaboration with Boğaziçi University, Amsterdam UMC and Fraunhofer MEVIS.
