Candidates should have: a very strong scientific track record evidenced by relevant publications and/or academic accomplishments, obtained a PhD/doctorate no longer than 5 years ago – candidates for a PhD/doctorate should be in their final year before their defense. Should you exceed the dates due to special circumstances (e.g., parental or medical leave), please contact DAAD, experience (or at least demonstrated interest) in the host institutions’ areas of research, not been affiliated with a German institution during the last two years.
This fellowship fosters global collaboration in AI and neuroscience by connecting early-career researchers with German institutions. It includes virtual networking, funded travel, and short-term research opportunities to explore AI applications in neuroscience and related fields like cybernetics and natural language programming.
