Advancing Complexity Science Through Transdisciplinary Research
Funding eligibility

Applications may cover all areas of research developed by the Chair and its partners. They may potentially develop a three-way collaboration, namely with Iméra, “t-co.re@AMU” and one of its partners. 

Eligible candidates must meet the following four conditions: have an employment contract with a foreign university or research institution during the residency; have proven scientific excellence in one of the research areas related to complexity; not have resided in France for more than twelve months in the three years preceding the call for applications; hold a doctorate or PhD.

 

Abstract

This opportunity supports 10-month residencies for researchers exploring complexity science across philosophy, physics, mathematics, biology, neuroscience, sociology, environmental studies, and economics. Focus areas include the history, epistemology, modeling, and applications of complex systems, emphasizing transdisciplinary approaches and critical inquiry.
