Researchers must be affiliated with a university or a research institute in Germany, and the grant programme supports them in travelling to France. All research areas are eligible.
Doctoral students, postdoctoral researchers, and early-career researchers (within five years of their doctoral defence) are all included.
The Office for Science and Technology Service of the French Embassy in Germany has established a grant programme, the Procope-Mobility grant programme, with the aim of supporting the mobility of young researchers.
These mobility grants provide funding for research stays of one, two, or three months at a university or research institute in France. Research stays must start between 18 May and 31 December 2026.
The programme will provide a fixed monthly allowance of €1,850 for doctoral candidates and €2,100 for other young researchers.
