Promoting Diversity in Neuroscience Events
Funding eligibility

Who Can Apply? This program is open to any organizer of smaller neuroscience events, including symposia, workshops, short courses, etc. IBRO membership is not a requirement. Emerging societies (or groups of scientists) with concrete plans to establish a neuroscience community in countries and regions where no such structure exists are encouraged to request support through this program. Support may be provided for inaugural meetings or similar events aiming to facilitate this process. Eligible events must be held in 2026 and can be conducted in-person or in a hybrid format. Virtual formats are not eligible. IBRO Society Meeting Support grantees will not be considered for this program in the same year.

 

Abstract

Grant aim: IBRO Speaker Support aims to support organizers in facilitating the participation of speakers from diverse and underrepresented backgrounds in smaller neuroscience events.
