Collection
Purpose of the collection

This collection of courses introduces the eight-dimensional space that defines the scope of current and future research, education, and applications in neurotechnology. It focuses on Neuroinformatics.

Neuroinformatics
Neuroinformatics develops tools and methods for analyzing and controlling brain-derived artifacts, fostering coherence and synergy between neuroscience and neurotechnology. This field focuses on creating integrated systems and multi-scale brain models to guide technological development.

Example: Building comprehensive brain atlases that integrate various data types, facilitating the development of targeted neurotechnologies for diagnostics and treatment.

  •
This course provides an introduction to neuroinformatics: the science and engineering of brain data. The topics covered range from theoretical background to methodological innovations in the field and their applications, as well as socio-technical issues related to data sharing, applications of neuroinformatics to clinical questions, and compliance with sharing mandates.
  •
This course provided by Neuromatch Academy aims to introduce traditional and emerging tools of computational neuroscience to trainees. The collection is intended for participant populations ranging from undergraduates to faculty in academic settings as well as industry professionals. In addition to teaching the technical details of computational methods, the curriculum is centered on modern neuroscience concepts taught by leading professors along with explicit instruction on how and why to apply models.
  •
This collection of courses assembled by the Canadian Open Neuroscience Platform (CONP) is a curated set of international educational content that aims to provide guidance through the increasingly complex landscape of skills and tools required for open neuroscience research and provides a convenient and guided starting point to acquire the knowledge and skills required for open neuroscience.
  •
This collection of courses is intended for those with a neuroscience background looking to gain a basic understanding of how to implement the FAIR Guiding Principles in their research.
