This course delves into advanced research methodologies used in MRI and biosciences, focusing on the design, execution, and analysis of complex experiments.  Through nine expert-led courses by Ahmet Ademoğlu and Esin Öztürk Işık, participants will explore main approaches in experimental design and execution, along with the ethical considerations and ethics committee applications in bioscience research. The main topics will be critical appraisal of evidence from the published literature, qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, structured literature review, ethics, data collection, and analysis. By the end of the course, the participants will understand the nature of science, recognize the importance of ethics, and become familiar with the writing process and methods for academic writing, including grant and publication writing. 

This course collection is offered as part of the TACTIX project in collaboration with Boğaziçi University, Amsterdam UMC and Fraunhofer MEVIS.

Target Audience: MSc and PhD students in their first year who need to learn advanced research methods for their studies.
